Small Trophy:
Performance - Perform in all 3 studio concerts before the May spring concert
OR
Note reading - (For students who have had less than 3 years of lessons.) Be able to name all the notes on the staff in less than minute.
OR
Complete 100-Days of consecutive practice and give the completed practice chart to your teacher.
OR
Technique - Memorize and perform all technique at the required tempi in a given level of the RCM syllabus
Medium Trophy:
Complete requirements for the small trophy + participate in an event outside the studio such as Select Student Auditions or Composers’ Day.
Large Trophy:
Complete all requirements of the small and medium trophy, plus
Register for and prepare for the RCM Piano Exam or Theory Exam, or ABRSM Piano Exam or Theory Exam To qualify, students must have all technique for the exam memorized by April 1, 2020
OR
Place in a high-level state, national or international competition such as Audrey Thayer, JUMY competition, NEPMTA Carnegie competition, Hartford Musical Club competition
